Teachers & Staff

Angeline Geldhof, Executive Director

I was born in Strathroy, Ontario, Canada and I have been in Hawaii since November 1993. I received my Montessori Elementary Teacher Diploma, from the Toronto Montessori Institute. I began to work as a Montessori Elementary Teacher for children ages 9-12 at a school in London, Ontario and then came to Hawaii in 1993 to work in the 6-9 class at our Waimea campus. I then became the Office Manager and eventually was promoted to Assistant Head of Schools. In 1998, when the Kona Campus needed a Lead Toddler Teacher I accepted the position and also worked as the Site Director of the Kona Campus. In 2000 I took part in the Castle Colleagues Program and in the summer of 2002, I became the Executive Director of Kona Campus. I am currently working towards my Masters in Education with Montessori Emphasis through Chaminade University. Today, I split my time between the Waimea and Kona campuses.

I especially love to spend time with my beautiful daughter Emmaline, swim in the ocean and let her cradle me, read mysteries, watch movies, and walk. I really enjoy working with this organization because I am able to interact with so many wonderful people everyday. I am particularly awestruck each day by the exceptional wisdom of our young students.
